You should upload a tax-exempt certificate for any state where your organization has tax-exempt status and where you plan to exhibit. Since your certificate is managed at the account level and stored per state through our Avalara portal, we recommend uploading certificates for all states where you regularly exhibit. This way, you’re automatically covered for every future event in those locations.
